Sarah's Sunday Baptism

This afternoon I attended the baptism of my youngest niece, Sarah, who is ten years old and in fifth grade. She decided to publicly express her faith in Christ today in front of several hundred people from her church at the Huntington Beach City Pool. Sarah gave her testimony before being immersed in the water (it was heated). I'm very proud of her for being brave about her faith and for being so grown-up. I love you, Sarah.

Yay! I loved it when my niece did the same thing. I bought her a little red gemstone cross necklace to celebrate. She usually talks a mile a minute but froze in front of the crowd. It's so cool that Sarah was able to talk. She will never forget that special day.

How wonderful! I love it when children choose to be baptized and share their faith with the world!

Baptizmal services and baby dedications are my favourites!
