LID - July 5, 2006

Congratulations again!

We have received confirmation that your dossier was logged into the CCAA on July 5, 2006. Right now the wait time between your log in date and referral is approximately 12 months. Please note that if you are adopting a special needs child this time frame does not apply to you. Wait for special needs families from the time the CCAA receives your letter of intent to the time you receive a travel letter is about three months.

If you have any questions or need anything during the wait time, please feel free to contact your Family Coordinator.

    That's great! Your LID is the same as my DTC (except for the year) just another fun thing we have in common :) Has your DTC group voted on a name yet? I'm in the July Dragonflies and have been obcessed with dragonflies ever since. Another name our group likes was July Firecrackers.

    YAY!! I am so excited for you!! What great timing too; being able to travel next summer when school is out! Hopefully your wait will be a little less than 12 months.
    Your ticker is adorable and crows are NOT. I HATE the nasty things! They used to eat all the cherries off my tree and poop all over my porch! In Asia, we had ravens which were JUST AS NASTY.

    Hey, Congratulations! We just finished the last piece of paperwork for our dossier today. Wahoo! Unfortunatley our agency only processes them once a month, so our LID will be exactly one month after yours, Aug. 5th. I'm still thrilled though, because honestly I was starting to think it would never happen!

    I want to add a ticker to mine - which language of ticker did you copy? Did you just go into the html and paste it on the bottom of your page??? Thanks in advance - I am learning all this stuff!!
