One More Day...
...of summer school. I shouldn't complain, at all, because this has been the nicest group of kids I've ever had in a summer school class. But I am so looking forward to a few weeks off - a few weeks to sleep in, shelve the commute, live life on my own schedule, play a little, and catch up on things around here.
Unfortunately, my master's class isn't over until the first of August. So, this coming week I'll be finishing up my assignments for that class. After that, I'll be a free woman!

Yea, I am happy for you! Go hang out at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, read a book, have your toenails done...it's summer.
I like the Faith Hill song. She did it live on Oprah las year. I just wish she could leave the word mayonaise out of it. I gag even hearing the word. But the rest is great : ) I loved catching fireflies growing up in Oklahoma!

Yay! This is the first summer in 5 years that I haven't taught summer school, and it has been GREAT!
Next summer you will be too busy going to China to teach! :)
BTW, it is NOT shallow to want to look beautiful. It is shallow to put outside beauty above inner beauty. And you know what? You have BOTH kinds of beauty! :)

Enjoy the peace and sleeping in late. Next year that won't happen with a little one around. :)
(Positive thinking!)

whoo, hoo- yes, it is nice to get a break even if you enjoy your students. Hope you get lots of home projects accomplished and some good ole R & R!

Enjoy yourself! I have one more week. I hate to say it but as long as two of my students are on their meds my current group of kids is great! Plus the shorter days rush by! Keep us posted on your leisurely activities.
