An Open Invitation
This is for all you Southern California bloggers. Michelle and I are going to get together next Wednesday night - August 9th - for dinner. We thought it would be fun to extend the invitation to other bloggers/adoptive parents who live in the area. We will be meeting in Orange County - Surf City, USA to be exact. Hi! I'm an early June LID, but May DTC, so not in your Yahoo group, but understand your comments. BTW, I lived in Long Beach for several years while growing up. What school do you teach at? Is the miniature golf course still there? (well, that was in like 1969 or 1970, so probably not). We lived on Scott St. (which I believe is no longer somewhere I would want to live). But hey, I'm glad I found your blog.

I don't know of a miniature golf course in my part of LB and I don't teach in the city school district.
