BTVS

The WB is breathing its dying breaths by running the original pilot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer tonight. I was a huge fan of that show - I named my yellow Lab after Buffy. I had/have a huge crush on David Boreanaz, who played Angel. Oh, he's so dreamy! But, I'm having a real hard time getting into his new show Bones. I'll give it another season...

Anyway, I just loved the whole good vs. evil theme of BTVS. The dialogue was hilarious and the character development was really good. It was campy most of the time, and occasionally profound. I still miss Tuesday nights with Buffy and Angel.

I have never once seen that show. I say that about most every show ;0) Of course, had I known THAT guy was on there I may have broken down and turned it on!

I've never seen the show, but it has a huge following with people at work, and my hubby loved it. I not sure whether it was the show or the main character, I forgot her name. LOL

Is the WB pulling up stakes and turning off the network? That is sad. There were some shows I liked on that station.

I do like Bones, and D.B. isn't so bad to look at. Hehehehehe!

Count me in as someone who has never seen it. I don't even know what the WB is...perhaps we don't get it hee in Canada?
Did you see Amazing Race last night? They were treking through China and our phone rang non-stop from friends and family telling us to tune in. It was neat.

LOVE David B. There was a math teacher at the middle school I worked at that resembled him...needless to say I unnecessarily walked by that classoom many times a day!

Hi Joannah!I've never seen it either! I just found your blog (you left a comment on mine, thanks!) so I'm going to bookmark it now. And some day when I get brave again, I'll just have to add it to my links (if it's okay with you!)

I never watched the show either - but David B's dad is a weather guy in Phila & he's pretty handsome for an older gentleman (and funny too).

GIRL I LOVED BUFFY!!! My best friend and I used to watch EVERY episode together. I remember once TV Guide wrote that it was the best writing on TV. Funny AND extremely poignant at times. Remember the episode with NO talking? And the one where she had to kill Angel? AND the one where her mom died just lying on the couch...gave me goosebumps because it was so REAL. OOOooo!!! If I had the time, I would buy the DVDs and watch them all. STILL my all time favorite series.

Buffy totally rocked...I really miss that show. I had a major crush on Spike though. I guess you go for the good vampires and I go for the bad ones!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was Da Bomb! I loved that show - and was vindicated one morning a few years back when a Harvard professor was on NPR. He stated that it was well-written and gave him something to watch with his daughter - snarky good dialogue! Hey, if it is good enough for NPR and Harvard, it was CERTAINLY good enough for me....sigh....I miss BTVS
