Three Months
Tomorrow it will be three months since my LID. So, three little ladybugs to mark the occasion.Friday evening, I'm going out for dinner at the Golden Dragon with the family in honor of the Moon Festival. I purchased mooncakes at the local Asian grocery for my students to sample on Friday, too. For some reason I'm thinking they aren't going to be crazy about them.
Oh, well...

I bought mooncakes too. I wasn't crazy about some I tried but others are quite yum. Not so sure the kiddos will agree though ;0)

Congrats on 3 months down. I can't wait to hear what your students think of the moon cakes. I've never personally had one but I get the feeling I'm not missing anything from what everyone is saying. ;-)

We are having our own Autumn Moon Festival on Friday - I like your idea though - less work!! I had to order Mooncakes out of California and we just got them yesterday - can't wait to try them!! Have a great time!!

In regards to the moon cakes... we ate some in San Francisco at the Mid Autumn Festival ... they were pretty good! The Lotus ones were the best! So there's hope for your students!!! :-)

Enjoy your moon festival!!! I saw the beautiful gift you sent Tamara....how thoughtful and kind of you. I had been following her story because of how she missed out last month and it was just so great to see her link up this time round as one of the first ones to get her pictures. I can't imagine how last month must have been for her.

How did the mooncakes tasting go? We didn't eat any moon cakes but Alexis and I sat out on the swing last night and watched the autumn moon rise- it was awesome!
