About Me
- Name: Joannah
- Location: Southern California, United States
We all know life can change in an instant, and mine has. I was enjoying my life as a newlywed, savoring every day with my wonderful husband, and trying to overcome infertility when we learned in May of 2009 that he has kidney cancer. Now, our focus is on his health. Through our struggles with infertility my faith in Christ grew, and now I can face this new challenge knowing that we are in His hands.

Go for it...it's safer than some stranger. Probably a better cuddler, too.

You should!!!! That way it will have your scent on it when you are finally able to give it to Jillian. I did this with a blanket for Jazzie. I slept with it for months to deliberately get it to smell like me. When I gave it to Jazzie, I think it helped her bond...she still sleeps with it to this day. Also, by me sleeping with it, it made me feel closer to Jazzie and helped me through the wait.

I was going to echo what Sandra said. It is probably a great idea to get your scent on it. Some'bunny' special will appreciate it...*groan*.

Joannah, I was just on a website yesterday that sells teeny blankets like yours specifically for bonding. They say to sleep with it so that it smells like you, give it to baby and it helps with the bonding.
ZZZZZZZZZ ;)

Yes to sleeping with it. I did that before Jackson was born with his blanky. You might one to buy two just in case. I think we went through 7 or 8 blankys because he would leave them places. I can't tell you how many times I had to call housekeeping in hotels and beg them to look through their laundry.

Lily says every bunny needs someone to sleep with. I think in your case she is right and Jillian will love to snuggle up with her especially after you have.
