It's Over!

Christmas Vacation (yes, I still call it that!) is over... Sob! I have so enjoyed my lazy days. I think there were three or four days on which I was dressed before noon during vacation. I just really took my time each morning, drinking my coffee, reading blogs, and puttering around the house. It's been wonderful!

Tomorrow morning the alarm will go off shortly after five and I'll be out the door at a time when I was still dreaming every day during the last two weeks. By eight a.m., I'll have thirty-one pairs of eyes on me and we'll endeavor to accomplish something educational before three o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Also, tomorrow is the official start date of my fifth and final class in my master's program. I've got eight weeks of hard work ahead of me until I get my life back. I'm so ready for that!

Ugh! Getting back to reality is always hard. Wishing you a gentle transition back to the classroom. Good luck with the last class for your masters!

I hear ya sista! When my alarm went off this morning, I almost shot right through the wall. What a shock to my system!
My only solace is knowing that my grade eights will know my pain as they, too have been sleeping in and staying up late. We'll be a nice bunch of zombies today.
Best of luck on your first day back and in your last course!

Ah real life...if only there was a way to make a living by puttering around.

And your final class! I know it's rough to work full-time and go to school, but you're almost there. Yay!

I get up to pee shortly after five...does that count as getting up early;)

I must say your accomplishments bowl me over. I am impressed by your spirit and your ability to focus on your goals and make them happen. You go, you independent woman, you.

I am cheering for you as you head through that last semester!! You can do it, you can do it, you can!!

I had to go back to work today also. The "knee hugs" from our students make it totally worth getting up early! :)

Hope your first day back wasn't too painful.

Congrats on your last class - you should be proud. And what better thing to accomplish while you're waiting for Jillian? Your graduate degree! You should be proud.

My classes start back up next week - I'm dreading the next 16 weeks. UGH.
