Which Jane Austen Heroine Are You?

I am Marianne Dashwood!

Take the Quiz here!

You are Marianne Dashwood of Sense & Sensibility! You are impulsive, romantic, impatient, and perhaps a little too vocal in your honesty. You enjoy romantic poetry and novels, and play the pianoforte beautifully. To boot, your singing voice is captivating. You feel deeply, and love passionately.

Oh, too funny! I saw this on Seraphic Secret and had to take it. I think I'm going to have to watch Sense and Sensibility again. It's been a while.

I was Elizabeth Bennett in Pride & Prejudice. Could be, but I don't know who she is and I never saw the movie. Is that good or bad?

I'm Fanny Price. Not sure what movie she played so I'll have to look that one up.
Thanks for your info I'll see if I can find someone who does it.
I went on CDBaby and I'm guessing that is your beautiful voice. I listened to a few different songs they are very nice.

Tracy, I wish I were Elizabeth Bennett! I loved the actress who played her in the BBC version with Colin Firth. It's worth renting, IMO.

PKD, I don't remember who Fanny Price is, but if she's a Jane Austen heroine, she's got to be a great gal. And, yes, that is me on CDbaby. I used to spend my spare time singing and writing songs. Now I spend my spare time writing papers for my professors. Ugh!

Now this is my type of quiz! I am Elinor Dashwood! Fanny Price is the main character in Mansfield Park -- she was played by Frances O'Connor in the movie. I could not get into that book at all, but the movie was pretty good. I think my favorite movie based on a Jane Austen book is Persuasion.

I was Elizabeth Bennett, but Marianne Dashwood is probably one of my favorite Jane Austin characters :-) so that is good for you and I wish, deep down, that I were more like her!

Having read every Jane Austen novel like 20 times, I had a feeling I would be Elinor Dashwood and the quiz reaffirmed that! I love Sense and Sensibility, although Persuasion is my favorite Austen novel. Thanks for posting this!

I guess I am Emma Woodhouse but I don't know how accurate that is...I tried to look up the word priggishness and still couldn't find out what it meant...so if I don't know the Jane Austen laungage I am not sure I can really be character from her books. I loved the movies though:)
