Bad Hair Day
I just got a bad haircut and I'm very sad. I'm sure it would be a good haircut for someone else, but not for me. I'm not a short hair kind of girl. I like my hair at least shoulder length. This cut is very short.
A wonderful friend and colleague cut my hair. She used to do hair for a living, and I think she always looks so cute and stylish. I thought she'd know just what to do for my hair. We failed to communicate about my expectations and her 'vision' apparently.
I could just cry...

Thanks for all your kind comments. I know you know how I feel. We've all had a haircut that disappointed. Anyway, I'm feeling better. I'm still not crazy about it, but I'm getting used to it. My hair grows fast, so it will look a bit different even a month from now.
I've had a good weekend. I'll post more about my adventures tomorrow.

I've been thinking about going shorter and your post has stopped me. Hope you will be okay. Though you are really such a pretty woman and I wonder if maybe it does suit you and you just cannot see it through the shock of it all. Hang in there and eat lots of protein so your hair grows back to where you are comfortable!

Awwww Joannah... I'm sure it's not bad. It's probably just the difference that you're not used to. Besides you really are such a beautiful woman that I really think you could make bald look good. :)
I've been thinking about cutting mine off too here lately. And I probably will before I go to China.

Oh Honey - I'm so sorry you don't like your new do. That's not how a day at the salon is supposed to end.
Even though you are so pretty that it's hard to imagine a haircut that doesn't look good on you, I do empathize with how you feel.

thank goodness it is only a temporary condition and it will change. I am the worce when it comes to bad hair cuts. Some pritty hair clips or a new hat may make you feel better. Have a good weekend.

Bad hair cuts suck, let alone when it's a "friend" who cut it...ouch!

OMG that just sucks! I too just cut more long hair short and we're slowly making friends. But I understand your grief, it sounds trivial, but I get it. And it sucks too that a friend cut it; complex.

When we started the adoption process I decided not to cut my hair until we got our referral.... I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out! :)

SO sorry that things did not go your way. I feel you pain with the bad hair cut. I stopped going to my over priced lady and got a bad but cheap cut this last time. What's girl to do.
