Two Days?

"The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before March 31, 2006.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before October 26, 2005."
My agency emailed us today to say that they had not received any referrals in this batch. Their next LID is October 27, 2005.

I think we've hit a new low point in this journey.

Maybe it's the nadir before it turns around? One can only hope.

It's just so crapola right now. I can't believe your large agency didn't get any referrals though, that's kind of sad. My tiny agency got 20 referrals plus a set of twins in that batch....I just wish my referral was in there somewhere.

Very low point indeed! Our agency didn't receive any regular referrals either, only expedited ones for parents of Chinese descent and we have a large agency too. Makes me very curious to what is really going on.

I have had a bad couple of days after referrals came. I have accepted it now. I'm ready to look forard to next month (lets just hope we will have better news).

Congratulations on your Masters!! That is so exciting. I am very jealous! You met Team Salsa! I bet Rose and Marie are even cutie in person.

I have been pretty blue over this news too. What can we do? Just say a little prayer and move on.

Maybe we have the same agency? Mine too. It's sad, but I'm trying to stay encouraged by the numbers which I guess were about the same.

I've missed your blog. I'm so busy lately I have no time to check all my favs!

As for my "smurfs", that's Hoops and YoYo, FAVS of mine. Check www.hallmark.com and click on ecards, then Hoops and YoYo and just view some of the cards. CRACK you up.

I hope time moves quickly until your get your referral.
